Title: sarg + dansguardian+ pam authentification not show reports

hello,

I just install Sarg following the wiki.

I use a sme 7.2 with dansguardian and pam authentification as it is proposed in the wiki.
sme is forced to use dansguardian as it is shown in the wiki

my proxy is proxy.myserver:8079 (cause 8080 is for tomcat)

so,

I did the install of Sarg, post upgrade and reboot.

set sarg to use dansguardian logs

/usr/bin/sarglog dansguardian

in the server-manager i access to the panel and i forced one shot report.

/usr/bin/sarg
It took a long time from 0 to 100%
but after nothing in the report.

Your seeing this because either no data was found
or you have just updated the sarg rpm.

You can force an update with /usr/bin/sarg

after a reboot of the server (in case of) still not reporting

don't know what to do!

Bonjour,

Configure SARG with this command:

# db configuration setprop sarg language French values abbreviation lastlog 365 logfile dansguardian
# /usr/bin/sarglog dansguardian

You have also to modify dansguardian logformat
Edit dansguardian.conf and change

logfileformat = 1to

Code: [Select]

logfileformat = 3

I renamed the old file so only new entry's are in the log right now.

I restarted dansguardian and also the whole server.

what can i try now???

Dear all,

I found out the error myself.

It's just that you need at least one period of time logging, in the right format.

after installation and change of log format of dansguardian i deleted the old logs

Now one day later the daily report works.

I think next week the weekly will work and so on.


Thanks for the attention, and if you're installing it. be sure you have the right logging format and after changing be a little patient....
