Is it possible to add a sme domain server to an existing real windows 2003 server domain as trusted domain?
As far as I know it is possible to use samba to get access to a windows domain as AD client, so I hope it is possible to add the pdc as trusted domain to the AD system too.

I think that will be hard or impossible, normally AD and samba are not very compatible,it is either samba and samba or windows AD and windows AD, for instance when you are using a primary domain controller and a backup domain controller, also explained in the Samba HOWTO (http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/samba-bdc.html#id333181)

Sorry to hear that, is there some other way to get a connection between a AD system and a Samba domain?
My greates problem in this case is, I have a Window SBS 2003 Server for testing purposes within my SME server driven network. I try to keep some processes as simple as possible. In this case it's the transfer from files and auth tokens which are much easyier when I can implement the 2003 system into the domain. The only thing is that the server as already an AD system installed cause there is a exchange mailserver running there.

As far as I know Windows Small Business Server only supports 1 (one) Active Directory structure, so You can't join any other domain (does not matter if this is an AD or Samba) to it.
