I have a new server, I have installed stock 7.1.3, no problem. I am now trying to upgrade to 7.2, no luck.
1. It's stock, 7.1.3 generic [from an ISO], no extra repository
2. yum update.
3. After the download, when it's time to update, I get:
Public key for Perl-File-MMagic-1.27-2.el4.noarch.rpm is not installed
I looked at: http://wiki.contribs.org/Updating_to_SME_7.2#Yum_Update_2
I did:
rpm --import http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/releases/7/smeos/i386/RPM-GPG-KEY-SMEServer
Still get the same.
Any suggestion?
Thanks

yum clean all
yum update

If you installed from ISO then you don't have 7.1.3 you have 7.1. 7.1.3 was never released as an ISO. Please follow the instructions from 7.1.

Could you give a link and point out what?
As I have the same problem and I have looked, read and done a lot.
But nothing worked.

Been there, done everything there is listed.
Nothing works, it's won't update SME to 7.2 and keeps on giving the same error.

I had a somewhat similar problem with a missing key when following the upgrade instructions (in my case, upgrading from 7.0 -> 7.2). See also http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=37908.0 (http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=37908.0). I eventually disabled the gpg checks by editing yum.comf. :( But then I ran into another problem with yum crashing. I posted details to a bug report (http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3021 (http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3021) but haven't gotten any response back (kind of frustrating).

If you are getting key errors then you haven't performed step one of the yum upgrade steps. Remember this is a wiki and as things are found to be incorrect they have been corrected. Ensure you have followed the latest steps listed there and if they don't work please post the exact steps and their output to a new bug in the bug tracker.

I've updated the 'update' instructions: http://wiki.contribs.org/Updating_to_SME_7.2
I suspect the old instructions may have resulted in the installation of CentOS packages on your system that should have been 'excluded' by the new default yum configurations.
I apologize (abjectly) if my howto is responsible for your difficulties as I suspect.
Your best bet at this point may be to download the 7.2 iso and update from that.

Thanks!
I will try the Cdrom update later this week.

I will try the Cdrom update later this week.
Will you try to upgrade the same system with the 7.2 CD? If you do, would you kindly post your results here, and also perhaps as a comment to: http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3021
Any information would be useful.
Thanks.
