Title: sme7admin expand the graphical display of the hddtemps?
Post by: Elluminatus on August 11, 2007, 08:02:59 PM
Hi,

it ist possible to expand the number of graphs diplayed for the hdd´s temperatures in the sme7admin from 2 to 4 or more?

Has anybody done this and can give my some step by step instructions?

Thank you very much...

Greetings E.

P.S. Maybe it is an good idea to built in a possibility to set up the number of drives (like it is realized in the eisfair project - www.eisfair.org) that could be monitored by the system.

Elluminatus,

It's a bit more than "just a quick hack": Data is in a database and in .rrd (RRDtool Tobias Oetiker)

You might want to ask Landry Breuil of http://sme.firewall-services.com/ directly.

If you feel confident that you'll manage a hack by yourself - you can pm me for some leads...

For a quick glimpse to decide have a look at the info in:
/usr/share/doc/smeserver-sme7admin-1.1.0/

Program (shellscript 1st part) is
/usr/bin/sme7admin

look for all "hdd"
