Title: attching text to the bottom of an email
Post by: Adam on March 21, 2002, 07:53:48 AM
Hello there,

is it possible for any email going through the SME 5.1.2 server to get text added to the bottom - the normal legal mumbo jumbo ?

cheers,

Adam

Thanks for that,

Is that from within Outlook I have to do that, or can I get the mail server to do it automatically ?

cheers,

Create a simple text file containing all the legal mumbo-jumbo and store it on the server in a place that all the users have access to. In the signature settings dialogue, under tools-options in Outlook, point each of the users at your file and make it the default signature. Bingo - anally retentive legal nonsense on every email.

If you have to change the signature file you only have to do it once.
