Before I updated SME, I was able to Ftp files to my websites. After the update, I can not access my header files in the website directory. Seems my file access has been restricted since my update. I can not tell you to much more. I get a no access message. Is there a way to disable the security that prevents me from accessing web files in the windows directories or ftp access? This is for the web access only. Every thing else seems fine.
Thanks,
Malcolm

You really must tell us more details of the server - what version did you update from?
How did you used to access the web files - I presume they are in an ibay?
Cheers

I am running SME Server 7.2. I updated from 7.0. I used the update button in the server manger menu. I have one primary and three virtual domains. It is in and IBay. I can not access the HTML folders from my local network. I can not ftp into the HTML folder either. I have the permissions set and I use the correct password. Earlier before the update, I could add new headers via copy and paste from windows explorer. Now the access is denied. This is weird. It is like it's protecting a system file that is in use. But that is not what i am accessing. Does that help?

Did you follow the update instructions in the wiki: http://wiki.contribs.org/Updating_to_SME_7.2

Yes I did. Now get this! I enabled the VPN and the issue resolved it'self. I do have a VPN. Perhaps that is why I was not able to access the directories the way I wanted.
Boy am I Thankful.
Thank you guys for being there.
