Title: Allowing remote Db Access (from excel for example).
Post by: spyrule on August 27, 2007, 10:32:19 PM
Hello,

I am wondering how to allow excel to connect to my mySQL Db over the local network?

Is their a way to do this.  It always disallows me from doing so. I think I am being blocked from port 3306 on the server itself.

Is their any way to test this, or allow that port to communicate ?
