Title: dmc-mitel-rav and gnu?
Post by: NeL on March 21, 2002, 04:25:33 PM
Hello,

I use dmc-mitel-rav-8.3.2-15.noarch.rpm and i would like to know if it's possible to translate and distributed it? The gnu is not present in this function, is it normal or it's a error? In general i would like to know what i can translate an redistribute.
Thanks
NeL

I feel as if you undestand what i said: i would like to know if files present in /etc/e-smith/web/functions could be translate and distributed if there is not gnu GPL reference in this files? Like in ravconf... i'm a french user and i would like translate this files and distributed them to other french user's...is it possible or this files are protected ?

There is only one person who can answer that question, and that's the holder of copyright on that package, which I believe is Darrell May. There should be contact and licensing information in an 'rpm -qi dmc-mitel-rav'.

I don't believe Darrell reads these forums.
