Title: Emails from my SME Server are rejected. How can I debug this error?
Post by: albatroz on September 14, 2007, 02:36:52 PM
Sending email from a email server, I am getting the following error.
As a result, the emails sent are bounced.

How can I debug this error?
My hostname is mail.perupacifico.com.pe

Code: [Select]
to=remote.sufernandez@telefonica.net.pe, uid=453, ddelay=0.836172, xdelay=0.827542, stat=Deferred
(Connected_to_208.70.188.60_but_greeting_failed./Remote_host_said:_450_Client_host_rejected:_cannot_find_your_hostname,_[190.41.24.200]/)

Are you sending mails directly from your server or do you use your isp's smart host?

Your IP is blacklisted by UCEProtect at Level 2.  You need to work with your ISP to get the other spamming hosts on your network blocked or disconnected, or you need to contract with an email relay service (since your ISP doesn't provide that service).  DynDNS offers outbound smtp relay for $9.95 per year for 150 msgs/day: http://www.dyndns.com/services/mailhop/outbound.html

Spam Database Query

UCEPROTECT-Network Level 1:
IP 190.41.24.200 is NOT listed at UCEPROTECT Level 1

UCEPROTECT-Network Level 2:
Network 190.41.24.0/24 is blacklisted at UCEPROTECT Level 2
Level 2 is an escalation based on the number of systems listed in Level 1.
It seems your provider needs to act faster next time.
Your IP 190.41.24.200 was not part of a spamrun, but has a spammy neighborhood.
Please send a compliant to your provider and request him to fix this problem immediatly.
Think about this: You pay him for, that you can use the internet without problems.

If he ignores your complaint or claims he can't do anything, you should consider to change your provider.
We never make exceptions. Requests are futile. Only your provider can fix this problem.

Listing at Level 2 will be removed automatically, as soon as there are 4 IPs or less from that /24 Net left in Level 1
The following 10 IPs from this /24 network were Level 1 listed for abuse within the last 7 days.

1 = 190.41.24.107
2 = 190.41.24.125
3 = 190.41.24.154
