Title: Installing kernal-smp-devel
Post by: clnsupport on September 17, 2007, 10:55:59 AM
I want to install the kernel-smp-devel package so 'n can compile a new zaptel driver. I’m running kernel = 2.6.9-55.0.2.ELsmp and cant upgrade it to 2.6.9-55.0.6.ELsmp because it breaks my trixbox (asterisk module)

When I do a ‘yum install kernel-smp-devel’ it installed the 2.6.9-55.0.6.ELsmp and not the  2.6.9-55.0.2.ELsmp. How can I get yum to install the right one?

You can take it directly on trixbox repo:

http://yum.trixbox.org/centos/4/RPMS/repodata/repoview/Z.group.html
