Hello I have squid guard installed on a e-smith server. My employer is wanting to provide basically a proxy server out on the internet that also does content filtering.
I currently have it setup to where anyone inside the local network gets filtered however how do I setup squid guard so that anyone that inserts the ip and port of the proxy can use it (this server is on an static ip).
Right now anyone that uses the ip and port gets a "access denied" for any site they visit.
Thanks

Have you installed the latest version of Trevor Ouellette's Squigguard package?
See this thread....

I looked on the FTP site under contributed/trevorOuellett and did not find squidguard. Where can I get the RPM for it?

I just checked as well and the file is there. It is NOT a RPM. It is a gzipped tar file.

I have a Novell Netware 5 server with Bordermanager and Cyberpatrol. I would like to drop Cyberpatrol and set up a Linux box to run Squid Guard, but will it work with Bordermanager?
