Title: New install - can't ping to or from SME Server or any PC

Just installed SME Server 7.2

SERVER only setting

Static IP - no DHCP

Default gateway set to my NetGear NAT Router

Can't ping ANY PC on the network
Can't ping from Any PC to SME Server

Is this Firewall setting or some thing

If so how do I reconfigure???

The setting you specify here only states that your server has a fixed (non DHCP assigned) IP. Did you make ure you also disabled the DHCP server during installation? My guess is that there are two DHCP servers on the network.

Is the fixed IP for your SME Server in the subnet of your routers DHCP assigned addresses?

DHCP was disabled and there are no other DHCP's on the LAN

Bit more basic than that - looks like a Faulty cable  :-?
