Title: Testing internet connection
Post by: Sidney on March 26, 2002, 05:33:17 PM
Hello,

I have notice that the "Test Internet Connection" on the console is not working any more since 5.1.2 patch 1 was installed. The pc's behind the SME are able to connect to the Internet.

Is Mitel down?

Does the Ping Mitel to Test Internet connection still available?

Thanks

I noticed the same. Perhaps it is related to their recent move.

I installed SME 5.1.2 last night and tried for hours to get the test working, thinking it wasn't set up properly. On a hunch I tried the proxy service and found it worked first time!

Glad it wasn't just me then.

I tested before the update, it worked and then right after, it didn't work.

The error I receive in /var/log/message is:
Mar 27 20:52:53 myserver console: Response to Internet test was HTTP::Response=HASH(0x8501b90)->message

I don't know if that means anything, it doesn't to me....
