Hi
I use e-smith (where can I see the Version? I guess it's around 5) as gateway for the inet-access by cable (fix ip). The LAN consists of win 2k server and clients.
I would like to be able to access the website on the local win2k-server from outside the lan (means the inet). How can I configure dear Mr. Smith to pass through the web-requests to a local ip (say 192.168.1.11)? Sure I could use some trial-and-error, but my server runs at something about 30 MHz...
Thanks in advance for any help.
Martin

I'd investigate http://myezserver.com/docs/mitel/ipportfw-howto.html first (as listed in this sites How-To section) and then maybe do a search of these forums for terms such as "port fowarding".

Luke

Hi Luke
searching for "port forwarding" was good, lots of inputs. However, it looks like it's not as simple as I hoped...
thanks a lot
