For about the last week my wifes PC (windows xp & Thunderbird e-mail) has been reporting an error when connecting to our SME server (7.13 updated to 7.2, with all current updates).
"Server.name"has sent an incorrect or unexpected message. Error Code: -12263
This error can occur almost anytime you start the e-mail client or click on a e-mail folder. At first I thought it was specific to her e-mail client and that it was glitched. Now I'm getting it on a fresh install of OpenSuse 10.3 and Thunderbird.
To me it now looks like a server error. Two different machines, two different OS's. Same E-mail client. Same error.
Any thoughts on what is happing?
Thanks

Hi Ted,
this is a known issue (since the last updates) and has been reported: http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3438
Have a look, there is a workaround explained.
