Hey All,
I'm running ICQ 2002b on my windows machine behind SME 5.0.3, and I have no trouble sending and receiving messages.
However, some people cannot send me files, while others can. One guy in particular can only send a file up to 10k, then the transfer dies. We've both tried every possible firewall/proxy configuration in ICQ, and i've opened up a number of ports in SME to go directly to my windows machine.
I've looked at ICQ's site and tried their possible fixes, but nothing has worked. I've also downloaded and installed the IP_masq_icq RPM by Damien Curtain and Charlie Brady, but it doesn't support ICQ2000 or higher.
Is there a new version of this RPM that does support the latest versions of ICQ? Is there another fix for this problem?
I've searched this board for other problems, and I know that some people have had similar problems, but I've not seen any fizes besides opening up specific port numbers.
Any clues?

I have ICQ running here
The largest file that I have sent is 40meg
My ICQ settings are as follows
Under connections servers
host: login.icq.com
port: 443
using firewall:checked
using proxy: checked
proxy type: HTTPS
Then under the firewall type tab
set the host server to your SME box with a port of 3128
Also check proxy to resolve host names
Under user tab
Use Server Proxy Settings: checked
Thats it
This is running on a stock SME 5.1 machine with a cable connection to the net
Running ICQ 2001b
