Title: USB Stupid
Post by: Bruce on March 28, 2002, 09:27:26 PM
Okay, color me stupid.  With USB being new to Linux, the documentation looks like I can simply connect any USB printer to the USB port on the server, create a printer queue for RAW printing, and then print to that printer.  Since my laser printer just died (pretty old to begin with), and their's a 40% savings by using a USB printer instead of a parallel printer, this could be a GREAT savings.  Are my assumptions right, or do I have more work to do for a USB printer to be connected?
