Title: Need help with dialplan
Post by: ldkeen on October 24, 2007, 02:04:27 PM
Hi,
I have an account with Pennytel here in Oz and they require you to dial 61 prior to a six or eight digit 13 hundred number ie I want to dial 132265 and they expect you to dial 61132265. I don't really want to use a transform mask because it is only the 13hundred numbers that require the 61 in front. I've tried setting up a new route with the following:
_<:61>13xxxx _<:61>13xxxxxxxx
as well as:
|<:61>13xxxx|<:61>13xxxxxxxx|
but I just get a circuit-busy tone when I dial the number. Can anyone offer any advice how to achieve this.
Best Regards,
Lloyd

Hi Loyd

Maybe I'm being dumb but what's wrong with a transform of 13:6113 ?

Best

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for that, I'd say that'll probably do it, but I forgot to mention that we have to prepend 61 to 1800 numbers as well. I don't dial them that often so I just dial the trunk preselect before dialing and that has been working. I'm having some trouble with G729 licensing so I can't really test this just yet. I'll let you know how it goes when I get the G729 sorted out.
Many Thanks,
Lloyd

You can string 'em - I think this will do it....

13:6113 1800:611800
