I am a newbie to sme & linux in general so pse be patient & assume absolutely nothing!
Since installing sme server & setting up email, we are continually receiving repeats over & over of email. The frsutrating thing is you never can tell which email message will be affected & for how long this will go on. Some e.g. last a few days & others for weeks meaning 100's of the same email message.
What is equalling disturbing is we suspect the same may be happening with outgoing email.
We dont have a fully qualified domain & we are using mail.forestlake.local as the mail server.
Any & all assistance/guidance very gratefully accepted.
Thks,
Peter

What is your network layout? Are you using multiple mailservers and using SME Server to only forward to for instance an exchange server?
It might be the double bounce issue (http://wiki.contribs.org/Email_delete_double-bounce_messages), have a look in the documentation.
