Is it possible to share one folder in a network?

I assume you mean a users home folder.

Keep in mind that if other users (than the owner of the home folder) write to that folder, then the file may be unreadable, so the method suggested really suits read/write access by the owner user and read only access by other authorised users.

try to use sme the way it was intended,
what do you want to do that an ibay doesn't provide
