Anybody out there have Teamspeak running on SME after the latest upgrade?
Carl
P.S. The install from the download area doesn't work anymore.

The download link mentioned here seems to work OK.

Ray,
Sorry for the misunderstanding. The link is fine but the package, when install comes up with an error that the script has an error and the service cannot start. Iam working on it but could use some additional help.

Hi,
Could you explain your problem with details?

Hi,
Could you explain your problem with details?
Just follow the instructions and you will find out that it doesn't work.
1. go to http://wiki.contribs.org/TeamSpeak_Server
2. Open a new session to the SME server
3. wget http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/sgomez/contribs/teamspeak/smeserver-teamspeak-server-2.0.20.1-2.noarch.rpm
3. yum localinstall *.rpm
4. ignore the yum-comments signal event post-upgrade and signal-event reboot
5. issue the command: service teamspeak start
Now the program states that the "script file" is unable to start.
Also, the SME server was restarted for grins and giggles.
This was tried on a fresh install with all current updates. I know this worked 2 months ago, what happened?

Thanks for giving me the link to my RPM! If I have some spare time, I will try to read what I wrote a few months ago
Anyway, with an SME 7.2 up to date, here what I got when I install it:# yum localinstall smeserver-teamspeak-server-2.0.20.1-2.noarch. rpm

Our's doesn't get that far and that is the reason that I posted this message but as we expected no one else is having any problems. I really don't understand why I waste my time posting to this. If anybody else has this issue, well good luck getting it fixed. Why did I do this in the first place?

Sorry for having no leads with your very detailled problem (it don't work, help me!)
If you can't provide details on how it happened, I can't help you...
=> Help me to help you!!!
Have you tried to uninstall/reinstall the RPM?
Any other contribs installed?
Modifications on the install?

Sylvain

New RPM released based on TeamSpeak new version (2.0.24.1)
I've updated Wiki links, wait a few hours for mirror sync
Updating old RPM is not possible. See the Wiki (http://wiki.contribs.org/TeamSpeak_Server) for more info.
Thanks

Two things wrong.
1. The install rpm needed an update.
2. My SME installation had something wrong running around in it.
RESOLVED
Now thanks to Sylvain's help, the contrib is up-to-date and my SME is up and running anew.
RESULTS OF TEST
The contrib works as stated for the install, operation and uninstall. I tested it with a friend in Canada and it worked just fine. I did have to open a pin hole in the firewall to allow outside traffic but that wasn't a big deal.
Special thanks for all of the hard work goes to Sylvain and to him I say Thank You.
This was tested and found to work as November 12th 2007 with all applied updates.
