Hi,
I have been looking at Mozilla Sunbird for a few weeks now, and i am interested
in using it on SME. Would anyone know of a good place to start looking as to
getting this running. I feel like i am going round in circles!!
Thanks

Hi Rob,
Mozilla Sunbird is a standalone calendar designed for use on a end user system. As there is no GUI to SME I don't think you will be able to run it on SME.
Perhaps you are looking at sharing the calendars between multiple clients of your SME. In which case I think it is something along the lines of DAV rpm you are needing to look at - which should allow you to store the calendar data from the server to multiple clients, however I have no experience with this to confirm.
Cheers, Shell

I have setup Dav for calendar sharing and it works well with Thunderbird ... I haven't tried it with outlook.
One problem though ... I can't remember how I set it up as it was a long time ago just for testing and it still sits there working away. One issue I did come up with is that for some reason the main calendar on the SME server kept getting reset (Cleared).
I will have a better look at this when I have some more time.

Tib
