Hello All. I recently installed a fresh SME 7.2 server, installed all updates, and then installed DAR2. I had used backup to workstation for years and think Darrell's contribs are great. However, I can't get DAR2 working on the new server to backup to a local workstation. I have verified via SMBmount that I can connect to the backup workstation and view files. It seems to be to be a problem within DAR2, but I'm not sure. Looking at the log files, it appears to me that DAR2 cannot create directories on the SME server. Below is a copy of my log file. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Darrell
Hello Darrell. I had seen this post before and tried it. In hindsight, verifying that SMBclient could log-in to the windows share WAS NOT ENOUGH. When I returned to this test, I found that I could not actually write to the DIR. It was simple and basic windows strangeness. Users at the office had been using this share just days before, but it had stopped working. After deleting the share and then re-creating, everything worked.
Thanks for the great contrib!
