Title: Virtual Domain stuffup..
Post by: askelon on December 10, 2007, 01:53:17 AM
I was doing a little fiddling and changed the DNS entry for one of my virtual domains from internet to local.  Now I cant access my server manager.  Is there an easy fix for this?  Whenever I go to any of my local sites (my website / server manager) its looking like its trying to access my router instead.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I have tried going onto my server manually and trying to access the server manager from the server but it does the same.

Try using the internal IP address eg:

https://192.168.0.1/server-manager

they are all getting directed to the virtual domain.  Its like Ive disabled my main one for the virtual.  My other virtual domains are all working from outside of my network though.  Just my main one redirects no matter what to the virtual.

I was just making a suggestion so you could access the server-manager so you change your settings back.

Have you tried to access the server-manager with the internal IP and changing your DNS settings back the way they were?

I cant access the server manager at all.  Im thinking if I could manually delete that particular virtual domain (without using the server-manager) it should come right but alas I have no idea how to do so.  If I try and access the server manager directly from the server I get "The requested URL /server-manager/noframes was not found on this server." Im guessing the virtuals taken over the role of the main domain so Im guessing the other option would possibly be to direct that to where the primary one would normally be set to for web hosting (the virtual ones running thru an ibay atm).

Got it all sorted now thanks..  For some reason it decided to let me into the server-manager using the changed domain this time - it definately wasnt earlier.

Please report that problem via the bug tracker.
