Title: How to turn on Recycle bin for user folders
Post by: Bricka on December 18, 2007, 11:44:00 PM
Hi, I have read the WIKI for how to turn on the recycle bin for iBays but I have only left the primary iBay created after SME install and basically mapped my windows XP clients to there respetive folder that is created for the specefic user i.e my XP user maps a network drive to \\192.168.1.1\user and then saves all there work there.

Is there a way to turn on the recycle bin for each user ?

Thanks Byte, I assume that from your answer that if I activate the primary iBay recycle bin then this will capture all deleted files by my users ?

If this is the case then this will not be an issue as the files will only be deleted by accident anyways !!

No that will only store deleted files if any deletes a file from the primary recycle bin. Each Ibay will need to be set up for a recycle bin each time one is created:

Check out this bug on how to enable recycle bin for every user:
