Title: qmail and sendmail

can someone tell me the difference between qmail and sendmail. I have to use sendmail with a script. I have located it but no luck having the email sent thru. Am I suppose to use qmail????? Any help much appreciated as always.

I believe there is a symlink 'sendmail' that passes off to qmail.  If I understand correctly, sendmail commands will be passed correctly to qmail, and processed as they would thru and actual sendmail --- minus the bugs...
