Hi Forum
I am installing over 2 hours the updates via software installer and it does not end. What do you recommend to do? Wait or do I have to cancel the update? If yes, how? The following message appears in the server-manager:
ftp://ftp.planetmirror.com/pub/smeserver/releases/7/smeupdates/i386/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 4] IOError: [Errno ftp error] 550 7: No such file or directory

Nothing has changed, it is still updating with the same screen above (Please Wait - Yum Running (predownload))
-
Try opening an ssh or console session and running yum update manually.
If you get a message that yum is already running the Software Installer is still busy.
If you get something else (if yum actually runs, even if it just says there aren't any updates available), try this:signal-event post-upgrade
signal-event reboot
-
Thanks - the installer was busy and ready after 4 hours.
Best regards
