Title: The installation process formats and erases all attached hard drives

Can't find any deeper logic to this method

Any way to partition harddisks manually during installation ?

regards

hi

SME is a server class linux distribution and is meant to be the only O.S. installed.

please, read the manual and... no, there's no way to change this behaviour.. it's a feature.

now, please, explain your problem ;-)

ciao
Stefano

If you just want to have a play you can use the SME Server virtual machine (http://www.vmware.com/appliances/directory/944) with the free VMWare Player.

You could install the sme OS with only one disk connected, then add more disks later and format them as required.
