Hi,
Is there a plan to support PHP5 ?
Several project do not support php4 any more, php.net announces the support of php4 is stopped.
So it's becomming critical...
I wanted to check the changelog of SME server 8, to see if it's plan in this release... but I can't find it...

SME Server 8.0beta1 is based on CentOS 5.1 so the answer is yes PHP5 is in this release, but rememeber its a very early beta version.

Ok, Thanks for the Info !
As I use my sme server for bunch of things, I'll only switch when the final release will be out.

SME 7.x uses PHP 4, you should not upgrade this version but you can add PHP5.
See this howto http://sme.firewall-services.com/spip.php?article46

Upgrading php4 to php5 on SME Server 7.x is unsupported, and could have adverse effects when updating server with our SME Server updates, I'd recommend you avoid upgrading php on the SME Server 7.x.
