Title: Login issue

Hello,
  I have added a standard user using the server-manager.  However, it cannot seem to login through SSH.  At first I thought this was an SSH issue, so I went to the terminal and tried logging in at the physical terminal.  I could not login there either.  After I enter the correct password it looks like it writes something to the screen but it goes back to the login prompt before I can read it.

Am I not seeing an option that I need to enable?
