Found a great Network monitoring and IT asset reporting software package that runs on a single Windows PC or Windows Server and requires no agent software to be installed. Best of all IT'S FREE ...

I have used the software for about a year now and I'm very impressed with all that it has to offer ...
It even comes with a Help Desk package that takes about 2.5 minutes to setup & configure.

Thought I would share it here because I'm sure a lot of you could benefit by using it to track all of your IT assets and to monitor your networks to determine what software was installed by who and when it was installed. Lots of accounting type reports available.

can it monitor/inventory devices on other networks with agents?

I have tried it, doesn't detect all devices on the networked, but will give it a go again...that was over a year ago..
