I have my users My Documents redirected to their P: drive (Personal/home drive). Everytime I logoff it synchronize, great, no problem. However, when I log on as another user, it tries to synchronize to both users home directories. Then I log on as a third users, and it tries to synchronize for all 3 of them. Obviously it fails at everyone who is not the current user due to permissions. When I go back to the first user it tries to synchronize all 3 again. What can I do to prevent this?

Hello,
I had run into this problem as well. I ended up turning off the sync because in our school environment, there might be 15+ kids using the same computer during the day. It became a real time waste while it did it's synch. I was unable to find a solution, so instead stressed saving to their mapped drive (home dir) and I back up the users directory and the samba/Profiles directory nightly.

Where did you disable synching?

The way I solved this is a two prong approach:
Log on to the machine (not the network) as the administrator. Then bring up Windows Explorer (WinKey + E). Then select Tools --> Folder Options. Then you should see four tabs, select the Offline Files tab and uncheck the relevent Synchronize options. This did the trick for me for people that had not yet (ever) logged on to the machine.
If the user has logged onto the machine previously and has a stored profile (BTW, delete cached profile in GP Editor does not work), you have to do the previous step first. Then log on as the user (authenticated to the network), right-click on My Documents and on the Target Tab, click on restore default.
That should do the trick.
Hope this helps,
