Title: server-manager access from local network
Post by: crusader on February 03, 2008, 10:38:07 PM
I have a very strange problem concerning my server-manager. It's not possible to access it from the local network. Every time I try to open the server-manager I get the authentication mask and whatever user I try to login I get the same message. You entered the wrong password or the user is not correct.
But it's possible to access the server-manager from the outside network. I've entered one static external IP as trusted one's and it possible to login from there, any idea why?

Have you looked in your http logs at the time of the login failure?

I think I've found the solution. It seems that the password for the admin user within the server-manager is not the same as the password used for the samba user. Does anyone know why or how this could happen?
