ok can someone tell what i should be logging in to as ROOT
http;//servername/server-manager
i can login to the above as ADMIN but not as root
the screen shot in the last post is where i set the password. but for some reason using username=root and password as @Passw0rd doesn't work hmm maybe a rebuild and select a new password.

Do you have console access? i.e. a monitor and keyboard hooked up to your server?
or is it remote. If remote you need to enable ssh access in the remote access page and install on your desktop either putty and/or winscp.

... but for some reason using username=root and password as @Passw0rd doesn't work
I guess you haven't read the Users Guide. It would be a good idea if you did that, at least twice.

i have read the guide but doesnt say anything about @ in a password. Any how did a quick rebuild last night and alls fine now.
Thanks for your help :)

i have read the guide but doesnt say anything about @ in a password.
I'm sure that it also doesn't say anything about logging into the server manager as root.
