Title: noob question Conection

im very new to sme and linux but im giving it a go, all one big learning curve right?

well ive set up the server as i want it, as a gateway to mt access point..
im currently running "teamSpeak" and Counter strike source on it.. no problems.. when i start up one of the processes it starts fine and i can view/join them.. but when it comes to other people viewing my page or joining one of the servers there is "no reply" ive tryed opening the ports but im unsure if i did it right.. ive read the tutorial.

does anyone have any idea's that that could share id be great full.

It sounds to me you need to open some ports. That should be in the documentation somewhere. Check here:

yes thats what im thinking it is, i know the ports and ive tryed doing it in the web interface.. ill try it the way it sugest there.

Do not use port forwarding to open ports for a service on the server, use this proceedure outlined in the wiki: http://wiki.contribs.org/Firewall#DB_Settings

Thanks, ill give that a go, if all els fails ill post again
