Title: Installing the same updates over and over

Hi All,

Currently running 7.1 and when I install updates, when the server restarts it says it needs to install the same updates again ?

Do I need to upgrade to 7.3 ? And is there somewhere that tells me how to do this ? I'm a linux and sme newbie.

Any help appreciated.

You have some choices:

1-Read all of this http://wiki.contribs.org/Updating_to_SME_7.2#Yum_Update at least 3 times and try to work out your issues.

2-Then search the bug tracker as there have been many bugs concerning yum update issues.

Note: If you are going to use yum to update from 7.1 I suggest you only attempt it from the command line (IOW don't use the software installer panel in the server-manager).

3-Just download the 7.3 ISO, burn a new CD and update your system via CD.
