Title: Growing/extending SME drive space for vmware installation
Post by: jester on March 03, 2008, 06:30:17 PM
I've extended a disk in VMWare for a virtual SME installation, but now the disk of the virtual SME installation still has to be extended to be able to use this extra space. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanx in advance,
jester.

I don't have experience, but maybe this howto can help :

http://wiki.contribs.org/Raid#Upgrading_the_Hard_Drive_Size

I think you need to add one (bigger or same size) virtual harddisk to achieve this because the wiki says
"These instructions should work for any raid level you have as long as you have >= 2 drives "

Then you may remove the redundant virtual harddisk after all mirroring process done.
