Has anyone installed a confirmation type spam system such as http://software.libertine.org/tmda/ or any recommendation for a spam reduction ?

Steve,

Funny you posted this - as I was just thinking about the very same thing.  Combatting spam has become a real problem, and I'm seriously considering implementing the "key/confirmation" type anti spam system (like tmda).  I'm interested in any and all responses, thanks.

Regards,
Patrick

As per TMDA requirement specification, you would need to have Python 2.0 or higer installed
SME comes with version 1.5.2 of python, so we have to upgrade to version 2.2 (recommended by tmda)
I'm interested in some antispam software (agent) so i would be trying something....
so I will keep an eye on this thread.

I gave upgrading to Python2 a quick go but it needs a few dependencies which i dont have time to sus out at the moment. Am definitely interested in persuing it later though.
