Hi all,
1) I've searched the forums prior to post.
2) I'd like to install SME on 2 SATA 320GB HDs in RAID1, the CD drive in IDE.
3) This *damned* mobo shows a fake sdb HD named 'Config Disk' with a 327.7KB size.
4) I've tried every setup combination in BIOS : the JM Micron IDE port (2nd IDE port) is disabled, the SATA ports are setup to AHCI with ALPE and ASP enabled (this works for Ubuntu install), no RAID is setup.
5) I've tried to install withsme noraid
sme multipart
Each time Acanonda tells me the drive sdb is not writeable and the installer fails.
My question is :
Is there a solution to install SME server 7.3 by choosing the drives ? something like the "expert mode" with Ubuntu Alternate or Server versions ?
Thanks in advance for your time.

Well,
It seems I've been too fast to post :-?
After a night of sleep (for me and server), the installer went OK after answering 'Ignore' to the question 'unable to write to sdb' (with sme noraid at install).
Please accept my apologize.
I believe the PC was too hot (or something like that) after trying a whole day different Linux installs in RAID1, RAID5 modes.
