Title: Screen Captures During Installation
Post by: igardiner on March 28, 2008, 01:27:40 AM
Hi All

We are running SME server 7.3 at work, we are a Registered Training Organisation and I would like to use the SME installation process for my documentation on how to install and configure to suit the College's needs. We are also looking at maybe using this as a basis of training on Linux server installation and so is there any kind of permissions that we need to get to be able to use this in part of our course ? Also if we can go ahead with it I'm wondering how we go about getting the screen captures of the installation process to use.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Then VMware is your friend
Mount a SME iso to the vmware virtual cdrom.

From VMware console you can capture installation process.

This might also be useful for using Vmware the other way around.
