Hello there,
I'd like to connect 2 sibling together (both with SIP Provider AND BRI or FXS card/box), but Internet Links that we are using are not quite good (rural wifi long range internet access), TTL are often high and sometime the link is cut.
Is there any possibility to say "if internet link parameters are under XXXms, then use BRI Channel" ?
Thanks for your help

Hi Edd,
No there isn't a way to do that right now, but it's a damned good idea! At the moment, in a route, you can specify a failover or an alternate. What;s the difference? Well, lets say you are dialling a 4-digit extension across a Sibling link and the link goes over. It's no good sending a 4-digit extension over the PSTN 'cos it won't mean anything. That's where you would use an alternate - it would be the pstn number of the destination you want to call.
I definitely feel a fix coming on for the ping thing tho' .... Hmmmm what a good idea.
:)
Very best Regards
