Title: Can't change tuples in zapata.conf and zaptel.conf
Post by: Chriswilliams on May 15, 2008, 10:37:35 AM
I need to change settings for a PCI card and I have gone in to PCI/Edit in server manager.
This shows the current tuple settings for zaptel and zapata. I have added some new lines to both of these strings and saved them. I then stop sail and restart. As far as I can see my changes make no difference.

I have checked:

When I go back to the PCI/Edit screen I can see my new entries.
I have looked at /etc/zaptel.conf and /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf and these have not changed.
I have done a reconfigure and a reboot and noting has changed.

Can someone explain why the changes made are not being added to the files and how I can get arround the problem?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Chris.

Hi Chris,

It's a minor bugh/deficiency in PCI/edit.
Go to globals and do a commit.  This will generate your changes down into  asterisk proper.  You can check using "general edit" panel.

Great!

That makes all the difference. Thanks for the reply. I can now move on to the next stage.
