Title: i am a new user for sme server, i have installed sme 7.3 server

i am a new user for sme server, i have installed sme 7.3 server but i cant find etho in configuration when i type command ifconfig only the loop back address it is showing it is not showing etho  pls do help how to add network driver

please provide more details on your specific hardware (cards). Please consult the wiki on references to compatibility matrices or issues.

i have intel 945gcpe_nl mother board with built-in network card tat is Realtek 10/100/1000 PCI-E NIC Family i am unable to find etho is in sme 7.3 server

You network card is not supported (out of the box) by CentOS 4.6 where SME Server is based on, I suggest buying a additional network card that is supported, a search in the forum might yield some more results.

Here is something on network cards in the SME Server FAQ: http://wiki.contribs.org/KnownProblems#Problem_with_NIC_card_or_integrated_NIC , perhaps you can add your card there if you are unable to fix it, if it is not already listed there (as I guess it is the r8169 one you have on your mobo).
