Title: XP Compatibility
Post by: DPL on April 26, 2002, 08:11:41 PM
I recently added a new Compaq desktop to my e-smith network, which came pre-loaded with Windows XP.  Unfortunately, outputting to my network printer from applications running on this desktop is not stable.  According to my vendor,  they say it's a problem with XP and suggest a switch to WIN98 will solve it.

Has anyone come across this problem? How did you solve it?  Any other theories?

Hi,

I had the same problem with a HP Laser printer, I got the latest Win XP drivers, and ever since then, it's worked fine.

Kind regards,
Rob.
