i have installed sme 7.3 but i got network card problem i changed it and reboot it but it doesnt take the driver do i need to install again sme 7.3 or any other way of installing additional driver. Suppose if i added any pci card additional network card or sound card i mean any addditonal hardware than how it works doest it automatically install or is there command to install drivers manually pls do help

Use hardware that is compatible with CentOS 4.6.
Just plug in any compatible NIC and it should work.
It's easier (and cheap enough) to select compatible hardware, and you will avoid problems at upgrade time.

thank you marry but the thing is after i installed sme 7.3 network card was not working i changed to another one after tat also not working than i install fresh sme 7.3 than it took the drivers now network card is working but i am having doubt once if i install new hardware which is compatable if doesnt take the driver .......
pls can provide me hardware list which compatable to sme7.3 any link which i can go through

Try logging in as admin and running Configure this server to allow auto selection of NIC drivers, assuming you are using supported NIC's.
Google for Centos hardware compatibility lists.
Also search these forums on NIC or similar for examples of which cards work and which do not.
You will have problems with on board NICs that use unsupported chip sets.

just use realtek cards you wont have a problem
