Title: SARK logos for your Cisco 79XX phones
Post by: SARK devs on June 23, 2008, 08:35:54 PM
HI,

There are a couple of nice SARK logos on the download site if you want to display them on your Cisco 79XX phones.

http://sarkpbx.com/sail/Cisco_79XX_logos/logoSARKPBX.bmp

Simply put these http refs into your SIPDefault.cnf like this...

Code: [Select]
; sip default configuration file

# Image Version
image_version: P0S3-08-7-00 ;
# Proxy Server
proxy1_address: $localip;
proxy_register: 1 ;
logo_url: "http://sarkpbx.com/sail/Cisco_79XX_logos/logoSARK.bmp" ;

There you go.  They look nice and its a little bit of publicity for us.

oh by the way - this is how they look (only bigger on the 79XX)....

Hi Jeff,
What 79XX do you have?
I just bought a 7911G and I'm having a hard time turning it into sip.
Assuming they all work the same, let me know if you had to play with yours to make sip compatible.

Ok, I get this down!
If anyone needs help with the 7911G let me know.

Not sure what I am missing..
 My Cisco IP phones work great, converted to SIP etc.
But,  I cannot get the logo to work,  phone just displays, cannot connect to http server
Yet if I point my browser at the same URL defined in the phone config, I get the logo !
Any Ideas ?

You might just try downloading the logo to your local http server.  Easiest way is to put it into primary/html on the sark box.

Best
