Hi,
I have tried looking for a solution on the bug tracker but could not find anything related to the subject.
I've got an SME 7.3 installed with no pending software updates (at least, that's my impression as I am not getting an email that there are updates to be installed).
When looking at the clamd/current log file from the Admin console, I am noticing the following:
2008-06-25 22:36:41.085898500 LibClamAV Warning: ***********************************************************

Is this an issue with my antivirus engine?
How can I fix it please?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I read the FAQ page on the link.
But, as normally, as SME updates as usually released from 'The SME guys', I thought I had something wrong from my side.
I don't like to mess around with updates which are not released from the officed SME Enabled repositories.
Basically, what do you suggest? If there a specific procedure to update clamav from SME?
Thanks in advance

Just check that you have the (sme) latest, by typing:
rpm -qa | grep clam
here is what i get on my up to date system:
]# rpm -qa | grep clam
clamav-0.93-2.el4.rf
smeserver-clamav-1.2.0-21.el4.sme
clamav-db-0.93-2.el4.rf
clamd-0.93-2.el4.rf
If yours is the same, then you;ll just have to wait until the devs release a new version.

I suggest you to wait for the updates to be released or, if you want/can, help the developers :-)

I had this for quite some time. what helped, in the end, was
yum --enablerepo=* update clamav
may be a dirty command, but it took the update from smeupdates-testing, I think, and all was well..
beware that when yum presents the list of updates, you must only give OK when the list contains ONLY clamav/freshclam/clamdb/clamd related packages..
