Title: 3com us robotic modem

i have connected 3com us robotic modem but i have doubt it was not install because when i install hylafax during cofiguration it shows no modem exist, pls do help how to install external 3com us robotic in sme 7.3.
i have intel 945gcnl motherboard,core 2 duo processor will i able to install
