Title: Monitoring user activity

Due to some security changes in the company policy I now have to monitor and log employee activity on the internet. What is the best way (and easiest) to accomplish this. I will be building a SMEServer v7.3 gateway. Are there any contribs that are specific to this or is there something already in SME that will allow be to monitor this. I will need to monitor this remotely.

This will do some of what you want. Although it is targeted at filtering if you look at the dansguardian website I think you will find it has pretty good reporting options.

If you are considering a dedicated box (non-sme), this is very robust option:
