Title: Migration, SME to Kerio Mailserver
Post by: andyramsay on July 06, 2008, 02:57:52 PM

I have just inherited a SME (v7.3) server thats hosting mail for about 60 users.

We are installing Kerio mailserver for the added functionality of shared calendars/tasks/contacts and pushmail.
I was wondering if there is a way to extract individual mailboxes to .eml files so they can be imported into Kerio?

The only way I have worked out so far is to use Outlook to migrate each individual mailbox out to a PST, then import the PST into Kerio, but I was wondering if there was efficient way to do this?

Hi

I think you are asking in the wrong place...

SME uses maildir email storage.. ask on kerio support pages how to migrate.. there's nothing here we can do for you.

I've used imapcopy successfully several times -- it will copy IMAP folders from any IMAP server to any other IMAP server.

Here's a link to the author's page: http://home.arcor.de/armin.diehl/imapcopy/imapcopy.html

Agreed - IMAPCopy is a terrific tool. If you can use it with Kerio, it will be a breeze!
